Evaluating and responding to each others' proposals

Today's activity is a rotating conversation that will use each table (plus 1) as stations to discuss the components of your proposal, which you'll need to take with you around the room. Half of you will rotate clockwise, the other half, counter-clockwise.

Each round is 5 minutes long, and it should be structured as follows:

• 5:00 - 4:00: Find a partner or partner(s) if groups of three are necessary. Make sure you all know each other's names.
• 4:00 - 3:00: Person 1 reads the relevant section of their proposal to their partner.
• 3:00 - 2:00: Person 2 reads the relevant section of their proposal to their partner.
• 2:00 - 0:00: Talk about and compare your proposals with respect to the section your focusing on.
  • Section II. Does the narrative seem like an appropriate, digitally-focused project?
  • Section III. Does the rationale make a good case that this project is worth doing?
  • Section IV. Is the audience plan realistic? Would it actually work?
  • Section V. Are the risks describing challenges that can be overcome? Can you think of other risks that are not discussed in the proposal?
  • Section VI. Are the resources described here the right tools for the tasks described?
  • Section VII. Is the schedule realistic? Does it build in enough time to complete the tasks that need to get done?
  • Section VIII. Is the assessment plan specific and reasonable given the scope and aims of the project?
