ARTS 316
- New course in "Experimental Documentary" to fill a gap between ARTS 219 and ARTS 454.
- Needs to be equated to previously offered special topic.
- Approved pending course history correction.

ARTS 442
- Prerequisite of "or POI" is confusing at registration, so we suggest revising to delete that phrase.
- Approved pending suggested revision.

BIOL 482
- Adds an option for students to continue individual research beyond BIOL 481.
- Approved.

HIST 338
- Along with HIST 337 and 339, this creates a three-course sequence in Arabic history.
- Approved.

- This is a new seminar for upper-level History majors on "The Great War in the Middle East."

- This is a new "World Music" ensemble special topics class. It won't be equated with the previously-offered 344J in Indian music because that will presumably end up being replaced with 275-suffix special topic.

- Adds a new special topics category for Music Business since otherwise MUTC was the only available options.
- Approved pending correction of typographic error where the MUPR 275 document header is accidentally carried over.

- Simplifies catalog listing so that instead of listing all science sequences, it just requires completing "natural science General Education requirement."

MUPR change numbers
- This is a comprehensive change to how Music Performance ensembles are numbered. The new alignment is more clear and consistent across levels.

- This becomes MUSC 490 to better accommodate the variety of topics possible for this senior seminar.

Special majors
- Four new special majors approved: two in Contemplative Studies, one in Journalism, and one in Digital Journalism. A change to a special major in Wildlife Conservation is also approved.
